While the Stahl family chose a challenging terrain for Pierre Koenig, the site plan of the house shows how difficult the terrain was. The drawing itself is a top view of the site with strong importance on the Stahl House. Trees and surrounding buildings are displayed to show scale and the relationship of the house to the surrounding context. The shadow of the Stahl House show a different relationship between the sun and the different levels of the immediate site surrounding the building.
